Fotis S. Antonatos is the Chief Legal Counsel of the Latsis Group.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of EFG Eurobank, EFG Bank (Monaco), Lamda Development SA, Paneuropean Oil and Industrial Holdings S.A. and Latsco Shipping Ltd.  He is as member of the Executive Board of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation.  Previously, he served on the Governing Board of the Foundation of the International School of Geneva.  Fotis S. Antonatos received his Law Degree from the Athens University and his L.LM degree from the University College London (University of London).  He was admitted to the Athens Bar in 1972.  He is married to Emma Threlfall and has two sons and a daughter who recently graduated from Tufts.


He was born in Adana in 1969. After specializing on Politics and Economics at Tufts University, US between the years 1987 – 1991, he worked as a Financial Analyst for Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated until the year 1993. He received his MBA degree with a major on International Finance at Columbia Business School between the years 1993 – 1995. Upon his return to Turkey, Sabancı worked as a Specialist at Akbank TAS Bahcekapı branch until the year 1996. Between the years 1996 – 1997, he worked as an Assistant Manager at Akbank TAS Beyoglu branch. Between 1997 and 2001, Ali Sabancı worked as the Head of Projects in H.Ö. Sabancı Holding. In June 2001 he has appointed as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development until March 2004. He was also Board Member at Dupontsa, Chairman of I-Bimsa A.S. and Sabancı Telekom A.Ş. and Board of Director of Akçansa, member of Vaksa Board of Trustees. As of March 17, 2004, he resigned from all duties at H.Ö. Sabancı Holding A.Ş. and became the Board Member of Esas Holding A.Ş. ESAS is a company set up during 2000 as a platform for investing in developing companies. It is funded by some members of the Sabancı Family. Esas Holding has invested in 10 companies operating in the fields of food, retail, healthcare and airlines. Mr. Ali Sabancı is the chairman of Pegasus Airlines which is based in Istanbul and Turkey’s largest privately owned airline, as well as the chairman of Izair a regional carrier with 5 aircraft based out of Izmir. ESAS Holding has held a stake of about 18% in Air Berlin since April 2009 and Ali Sabanci, has been a member of Air Berlin’s supervisory board since May 2009. Ali Sabancı is fluent in English. He is married and has two boys.


Takis Arapoglou is the former Chairman and CEO of the National Bank of Greece Group (2004-2009) and Chairman of the Hellenic Bankers Association since 2005.  He has held senior positions with International Investment Banks in London (1977-1991), and has headed Greek banks and subsidiaries of foreign banks in Greece (1991-2000). In 2000 he became Global Head of the Banks & Securities Industry for Citigroup based in London.  He has served in several international bank advisory boards in the Nordic region, Africa and North America. He was the founding Chairman of the Hellenic Interbank Payments Systems, a founding member of the Hellenic Bankers Association in London and a member of the board of the Athens Laboratory for Business Administration, Chairman of the Institute of Corporate Culture Affairs in Frankfurt, a member of the Advisory Board of the Hellenic Observatory at the London School of Economics, member of the board of the National Gallery of Athens nd Chairman of the National Bank of Greece Educational Foundation in Athens. He is currently Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of the Athens School of Economics and Business.  He has degrees in Mathematics, Engineering and Management from Greek and British Universities.


Mr. David graduated from Tufts University in 1993 and began his career in the Coca-Cola Bottling System in the United States. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. David held several positions in the Sales and Marketing departments of Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. During 1997, Mr. David worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on accounting and business finance. From 1998, Mr. David’s principal activity is advisor to Kar-Tess Holding S.A. on its bottling investments. Mr. David was Chairman of Navios Corporation, a major bulk shipping company, from 2002 to 2005 and currently serves as a member on the board of directors of IDEAL Group S.A. and Aegean Airlines S.A. Mr. David is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Fares Center at Tufts University as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of College Year in Athens and member of the Steering Committee of Cyprus Ship owners Association.


Javier Macaya is the founder and CEO of Athelera, LLC a New York and London based M&A boutique investment bank which he established in January 2000 ( Throughout his career Javier has represented clients in transactions valued over $20 billion, acting as financial advisor to many leading companies, entrepreneurs and family groups in the Americas and Europe with interests in the telecommunications, consumer products, media, retail and financial services industries. Between 1996 and January 2000, Javier was a co-founder, partner and managing director of Violy, Byorum & Partners LLC, a Latin American-focused investment bank based in New York. Javier was one of four partners responsible for building the firm into an organization with over 100 employees and offices in New York, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Monterrey. Between 1994 and 1996 Javier was an Associate at James D. Wolfensohn Inc., a New York based investment bank. At JDWI, Javier was one of an original two-person team responsible for building the firm’s Latin American business which earned a top-five advisor ranking in the region. Between 1991 and 1994 Javier was an Associate at JP Morgan’s investment banking department. Javier graduated from the JP Morgan Corporate Finance Program. He is a director of Compass Group and Havas Media USA. Javier also is on the board of Tufts University’s International Board of Overseers and Tufts’ Institute for Global Leadership. Javier was educated in Spain, England, Switzerland and the United States. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University in 1991. He is a native of Spain and has three children.


Angelos is an entrepreneur who is currently involved in ventures in the field of Real Estate with a focus in Europe and the USA. Prior to this he was a Founding Partner of Capital Management Advisors Group (“CMA”), an alternative investments firm, specializing in multi-manager hedge fund portfolios. CMA was acquired in 2006 by EFG International (“EFGI”), a global private banking group with assets under management of over US$100 billion. Angelos is a Board Member of the Institute for Global Leadership (“IGL”) at Tufts, which is a cross-school program emphasizing rigorous academic preparation and experiential learning. Angelos is a co-Founding Sponsor of the Empower Program ( at IGL whose objective is to help educate, mentor, guide and motivate future social entrepreneurs, defining social entrepreneurship as activities that benefit humankind. Angelos is a Patron of Children Action ( ) a Swiss Foundation that was created in February 1994 with the objective of helping children around the world without making any distinctions on nationality, race or religion. Children Action primarily focuses on medical operations and psychological issues. In the last 16 years Children Action has built a solid track record of helping children with projects that span from Argentina, France, Peru, Romania, Switzerland and Vietnam. Angelos and his wife and two children currently live in Geneva, Switzerland where he enjoys the most of the Alps as he is a passionate skier. Angelos holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
