About Tufts in the World: Turkey

Planning is now under way to convene a delegation of Tufts representatives in one of the most fascinating and vibrant nations in the world—Turkey. This distinctive program, the fourth Tufts in the World trip, will include academic symposia led by distinguished Tufts faculty as well as opportunities to learn from Turkish leaders in industry, education, and government, many who are part of the Tufts alumni family.

Other activities will include:

• Events with President Anthony P. Monaco, diplomats and ministers, and alumni in choice locations throughout Istanbul and in Ankara
• A report on admissions and financial aid from Lee Coffin, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, before an audience of high school counselors and potential future Tufts students and their families
• Tours that highlight Turkey’s treasured history, culture, and architecture, with destinations that include the Grand Bazaar, the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace

As part of this important delegation to Turkey, you will continue the board’s longstanding support of Tufts University and its global presence. You will experience the country as never before. And you will make long-lasting friendships with other like-minded citizens of the world. Thank you for saving the date.
